Prisoner of her own self

A girl wrote me in interpenpals' lives in a distant country' takes care of her sister's kid and she is in the search for a job. She seems a good person but possibly trapped in her own body.  Even nowdays most people can't accept the diversities. It isn't easy to accept a sexuality different than yours' that's why some people live a secret life or create an image which isn't theirs just for community's sake.

When I was studying in a small city there was a friend in my company who was also a classmate and she was telling us how much she liked a guy.Then one day totally out of the blue she admitted she liked women and she had relationships with them. We were shocked in the beginning but continued as we should to be friends though are feelings had changed a bit. 

Years later I met another woman that she admitted she liked women and she had a relationship with a woman from a distant country. 

All these women - girls have something in common they are all trapped in what other people's opinions and ethics when they should just follow their hearts.

My neighboor or my enemy

Writing with some people from Turkey made me realise that we have more commons than differences. In the past centuries but also in recent years we have serious issues that we all fear those might end up with a conflict.Due to their governments' tactics and perhaps to ours too there are negative feelings between us.Greek history is written with the innocent blood our people lost in many wars and this isn't something we will ever heal inside our hearts or forget. Wars make people insane. People can be more savage than jungle's beasts! Despite our bitter past we could create a brighter future.The country near to us has similar culture and citizens who love to keep their lives simple' to live peacefully.Citizens of a country can be citizens of the future too' we aren't our governments and certainly we aren't our politicians.

Diversities , differences turn this world into an amazing place. 

Everyone is unique. 

Different skin feautures , 

different cultures , 

different mentality , 

different languages , 

different beliefs , 

different religions are composing a colourful canvas on planet earth.

We need to respect each other more and break stereotypes in order to be better for ourselves.

We need to accept the difference even when we disagree.

Everybody has the right to be whoever he wishes to be and do whatever he wants if his attitude doesn't harm or offend other beings.
